Food and coffee on campus
Is it possible to buy food and coffee on campus? Are there microwave ovens if I want to bring lunch? Food during the study day is important! Here you can see what you can find on and around campus.
Student kitchens
In buildings 7, 14, 15, 18 and 21 there are kitchens for students, with microwave ovens, refrigerators and dishwashing facilities.
Café
In building 7 there is a café where you can buy coffee and light lunches. The café is normally open Monday–Thursday 8.00–16.00, Fridays 8.00–15.00. The café is closed on weekends, public holidays and during the summer.
Food trucks
In front of building 5, there are places for food trucks. Usually, at least one truck is in place, and open during lunchtime. The food trucks are closed on weekends, public holidays and during the summer.
Restaurant
Restaurant Metropol right outside the university, offers a lunch buffet. Restaurant Salt, located inside the public bath, just a stone’s throw away, also serves lunch.
Coffee- and vending machines
In most houses for teaching, you will find vending machines.
Grocery store
If you want to take a short walk, you will find ICA Kvantum right next to the university area.
